Albany Residents Charged in Caldwell County for Exploitation
Three Albany residents have been formally charged with three crimes in Caldwell County.
According to the Missouri Casenet court system, 42-year-old James Michael Gordon II, 36-year-old Trista Alice Boley, and 31-year-old Christa Danielle Lycan have all been charged with exploiting an elderly or disabled person who stole $ 750 or more and conspiracy to commit a crime.
One possible affidavit says that Lycan’s 55-year-old aunt gave the trio $ 1,700 to buy a vehicle for them and bring it back. After buying a 2002 Chrysler for $ 1,100, Gordon reportedly told the Sheriff’s Office to put the selling price on the title at $ 1,600.
The three were reported to have sold the vehicle to an undisclosed person.
Boley and Gordon have criminal records, including fraud, theft, and bad checks. This is Lycan’s first offense.
