Children will have the opportunity to find out more about the American Revolutionary War in a fun and creative way next week in Gallatin. The Constitution Day Camp is to take place in Dockery Park. Rosanna Andersen is one of the founders of the event, which took place in other parts of the country.

Anderson says attendees will learn about events that led to the American Revolution.

Classes, crafts, games, and music during the week will help campers increase understanding and appreciation for this period of American history.

The week ends with a presentation for the children’s families on Friday evening, where the children put on a musical and show what they have learned during the week. Anderson says the day camp enables children to better recall historical events.

Constitution Day Camp takes place in Gallatin in Dockery Park Monday through Friday of the next week from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. daily for children aged 7-14. The cost is $ 20 which covers all expenses, snacks, and handouts. For registration or for further information by email [email protected]
