Law enforcement officers make arrests based on facts of the crime. Any person suspected of a crime is presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

In April, officers responded to approximately 297 notifications, arrested 6 people with active arrest warrants, arrested 7 people from a completed criminal investigation, carried out 75 traffic stops, and issued 35 citations for various crimes and traffic offenses.

On 04.04. At 4:00 p.m., an officer reported a fight at Hamilton High School. Two students were interviewed and one was cited for assault. A report was forwarded to the Caldwell County Juvenile Officer.

On February 4th At 6:22 p.m., an officer reported property damage believed to have occurred in the 400 block on E Berry Street.

On 04.04. At 2:59 p.m., an officer broke traffic on 8th Street and N Davis, which resulted in the arrest of a 60-year-old man from Hamilton, MO, for driving without a license and driving drunk.

On 04.04. At 7:07 p.m., the officer responded to E Bird’s block of 200 for a report of a dog bite. The dog’s owner was located and quoted so that his dog could run at large.

On May 4th At 10:30 a.m., officers on the 200 block of N. Davis Street responded to a single vehicle accident. The driver, a 68-year-old man from Hamilton, was transported for medical treatment.

On June 4th At 8:08 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic disruption at E Berry & N Davis that resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old Hamilton man for driving without a license. The male subject was cited for expired license,

expired insurance and no seat belt and released from custody.

On September 4th At 1:55 p.m., an officer responded to a report from two dogs that ran free on the 500 block on E 7th Street. The owner was found and quoted.

On April 13, 2021 at 5:15 p.m., an officer responded to E Arthur’s block of 500 to get a report of a dog running at large. The owner was found and quoted.

On April 13th At 10:37 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic disruption on Highway 13 off Highway 36 in which a 67-year-old Cameron man was arrested for driving without a license. The male subject has been cited and released.

On April 15th At 2:15 p.m., a 29-year-old woman from Cameron, MO, was arrested at Supervision Services on a warrant against Dekalb County for violating methamphetamine. The initial fee for the warrant is possession of a controlled substance.

On April 17th At 11:36 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic disruption on the 200 block of N Davis Street that resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old woman from Gallatin, MO, for failing to issue an arrest warrant in Dekalb County. The initial fee for the warrant is driving without a license.

On April 19 At 4:35 pm, a 50-year-old man was arrested at Supervision Services on an active warrant against Livingston County for failing to comply with the judge’s instructions on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance.

On April 19 At 5:44 pm, a 32-year-old Kansas City, MO woman was arrested at Supervision Services on a warrant for Daviess County violating the original automobile theft charge. The woman violated the attachment terms by testing positive for a controlled substance.

On April 20th At 4:30 p.m., a 50-year-old man from Braymer, MO, was arrested at Supervision Services on a Caldwell County arrest warrant for alcohol abuse. The initial warrant charges are child neglect and domestic violence.

On April 20th At 10:00 pm, an officer received a report of sexual assault on a child. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the incident occurred in King City, MO. A report was completed and sent to the King City Police Department for follow-up.

On April 22nd At 2:00 p.m., officers received a report of a fight at Hamilton High School. A report was forwarded to the Caldwell County Juvenile Officer.

On April 25th At 8:51 am, a 34-year-old woman from Chillicothe, MO, was arrested on the 700 block of S Hughes for driving in a drug-drug attack and held at the Caldwell County Detention Center.

On April 27th At 1:10 p.m., a 28-year-old woman from Braymer, MO, was arrested at Supervision Services on a Caldwell County arrest warrant for testing positive for alcohol. The original warrant charges are numerous controlled substance possession counts.

On April 27th At 4:08 p.m., a 31-year-old man from Saint Joseph was arrested on the 100 block of W School without a license and released with a quote with no license, no insurance, and expired license plates.

04/01 at 9:35 am, a 36-year-old man from Polo, MO, stopped at S. Davis & School and cited for expired records (Aug 2020)

On April 1st At 10:15 a.m., a 55-year-old woman from Albany, MO, stopped at S Davis & Chestnut and was listed without insurance

04/03 at 5:57 pm, a 29-year-old man from Hamilton, MO, stopped at McCaughy & Ewing and was charged with not registering a motor vehicle

04/03 at 2:23 p.m., a 42-year-old man from Hamilton, MO, stopped at the 700 block of S Hughes and cited for expired panels (October 2020)

04/04 at 6:39 am, a 39-year-old woman from Kansas City, MO, stopped at 13 Highway & 36 Highway and was arrested for missing registration of a motor vehicle

04/05 at 6:25 am, a 38 year old from Kingston, MO, stopped at Berry & Willis and quoted for expired plates

04/06 at 7:55 am, an 18 year old from Hamilton, MO, stopped at Berry & Davis citing an expired driver’s license

04/09 at 10:50 am, a 22-year-old woman from Hamilton, MO, stopped at Hughes & Davis and cited for no insurance

04/09 at 8:29 pm, a 37-year-old woman from Independence, MO, stopped at Davis & Hughes and cited that she had not registered a motor vehicle

04/11 at 7:30 p.m., a 19 year old from Hamilton, MO, stopped at 13 Highway & 36 Highway and was arrested for missing a motor vehicle registration

04/12 at 5:10 pm, a 29-year-old man from Kidder, MO, stopped at Samuel & Ritchie’s citing that he had not registered a motor vehicle or insurance

On 04/12 at 2:15 p.m., a 20-year-old man from Bethany, MO, stopped at Ardinger & Samuel and cited that he had not checked into a motor vehicle

04/12 at 4:50 pm, a 35 year old woman from Independence, MO, stopped at Berry & Hughes and quoted for not registering a motor vehicle

On April 13th At 10:37 p.m., a 67-year-old man from Hamilton, MO, stopped at 13 Hwy and 36 Hwy and was arrested for missing a motor vehicle registration

04/14 At 8:55 a.m., a 37-year-old man from Hamilton, MO, stopped at Samuel & Davis and cited for expired records (November 2020)

April 19 At 3:10 p.m., a 17-year-old woman from Hamilton, MO, stopped at Ardinger and on the 8th, citing that insurance had expired and she had not stopped at a stop sign

04/21 At 11:20 a.m., a 67-year-old woman from Breckenridge, MO, stopped at the 700 block of S Hughes and quoted for expired records (November 2020).

On 04/23 At 7:30 a.m., a 19-year-old man from Gallatin, MO, stopped at the 1000 block of S Hughes, citing that he did not stop while loading because of a stop arm on a school bus

04/23 At 1:40 p.m., a 67 year old from Gallatin, MO, stopped at Berry & Gallatin and was charged with speeding (21 over).

04/23 At 3:10 p.m., a 17 year old from Kidder, MO, stopped on the 8th & Ardinger, citing that he did not stop at a stop sign and without insurance

04/23 At 7:37 pm, a 56-year-old from Bates City, MO, stopped at Davis & Berry and was alleged to have not stopped at a stop sign

On 04/23 At 6:11 p.m., a 23-year-old from Macon, MO stopped at 13 Highway & 36 Highway and was arrested for parking in a no-parking area

On April 24th At 6:29 p.m., an 18-year-old from Hamilton, MO, stopped at Berry & Dudley’s and quoted expired plates

04/25 At 1:36 a.m., a 29-year-old man from Hollywood, MD stopped at Davis & Berry and quoted as saying that he did not stop at a stop sign

On April 27th At 4:08 p.m., a 31-year-old from St. Joseph, MO, stopped at the 100 block of W School and quoted expired license plates (May 2020) and no insurance
