Andrew County

Interstate 229 – resurfacing project from I-29 north of St. Joseph to Route 371 (mile marker 14-3) by mid-September. A lane will be closed around the paving work, which is expected to last until June.

I-29 bridge replacement project north over Hopkins Creek (mile marker 58) by September. There is head-to-head traffic in the southbound lanes. This bridge is part of Governor Mike Parson’s $ 351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

US Route 59 – Surface renewal project from I-29 to US Route 71 by the end of June. Flag generators and a pilot car guide drivers through the work zone. A width restriction of 12 feet applies for the duration of the project.

  • North and south ramps from I-29 to US Route 59 (Exit 65) regularly CLOSED for cutter renewal, June 7th – 8th daylight hours

Route DD – Park Street to Swenson Street driveway works, June 7th

Atchison County

I-29 – Bridge replacement project of the Nishnabotna River Bridges in north and south direction (mile marker 122 – 124) until August 2022. One lane in both directions can be closed due to overpass construction work. In mid-June, traffic will be shifted to the south in the lanes. Buchanan County

I-229 – Surface renewal project from Route 371 to I-29, north of St. Joseph (mile marker 3-14) by mid-September. A lane will be closed around the paving work, which is expected to last until June.

US Route 36 – Guardrail, paving repair and resurfacing between the Missouri River and 0.75 miles east of Route AC by early August. A width restriction of 12 feet applies. Periodic ramp CLOSURES takes place from June 8th to 11th for surface renewal as follows:

  • June 8 – Westbound I-29 exit and western US Route 169 (Belt Highway) exit
  • June 9 – Westbound Belt Highway on the ramp, 28th and 22nd Streets on and off the ramps
  • June 10 – Eastbound 22nd Street, 28th Street and Belt Highway up and down ramps
  • June 11 – Heading east and west I-29 up and down ramps (clover leaf exchange)

US Route 169 – Beck Road intersection signaling work, 7:00 p.m. June 10 to 7:00 a.m. June 11. There may be one-lane closures and turn restrictions.

Kochstrasse – CLOSED at the bridge over I-29 for deck repairs, 6 am June 7th to 6 am June 8th. The road remains closed overnight.

U.S. Route 169 and Route 6 Strip, June 8-9

Genfeldstrasse – CLOSED at the bridge over I-29 for deck repairs, 6:00 am June 8th to 6:00 am June 9th. The road remains closed overnight.

Route 759 – CLOSED for railroad maintenance at Burlington Northern level crossing south of Cedar Street, 7:30 am June 9th to 7:00 pm June 10th

Caldwell County

US Route 36 resurfacing and paving repairs through Caldwell, Livingston and Linn Counties by mid-July. There will be intermittent road closures with a width limit of 14 feet.

Carroll County

Section Z – Closed until further notice from Route C to County Road 217 due to slide damage and ongoing geological studies.

Route D – CLOSED in sections for a seal coat project from Route 10 to Mooresville, Livingston County, June 7-11, 7:30 pm – 4:00 pm daily

Charitonton district

Route 139 – CLOSED for a bridge replacement project on the Grand River Overflow Bridge by early July. This bridge is part of Governor Mike Parson’s $ 351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state. Clinton County

I-35 – Repair the sidewalk from Route 116 to Shoal Creek by June. There will be intermittent road closures with a width limit of 10 feet.

Route P – Repairing potholes, June 7-11

District of DeKalb

US Route 36 – Sidewalk repair, guardrail improvements, and resurfacing in a westerly direction from east of Route 31 to Route C and east from Route 33 to the Grindstone River by July. A width restriction of 12 feet applies for the duration of the project.

Gentry County

US Route 169 – CLOSED for a bridge deck replacement project over the Middle Fork of the Grand River, near Gentry, by early August. This bridge is part of Governor Mike Parson’s $ 351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state. Route BB – CLOSED on the branch of the Weldon Fork Creek Bridge for a bridge deck replacement project by early July. This project is part of Governor Mike Parson’s $ 351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
