The St. Joseph Mustangs will kick off their 12th season with the annual Fan Fest on Tuesday June 1st at Phil Welch Stadium – one day before the season kicks off.

Food specialties, national anthem attempts, punching exercises, and autographs will highlight the event, and entry is free.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet players and get autographs from across the 2021 roster after the batting practice is complete.

“This will be the first opportunity for many of our players to get on the field and experience the incredible support from the community,” said Ky Turner, general manager of Mustangs, in a press release. “We have concessions open, music on the speakers and live interviews. This is going to be a really fun event, and it’s completely free. We’re just happy to see everyone back in the stadium. “

Fans also have the opportunity to try out new goods for the coming season.

The Mustangs will begin their quest for a seventh MINK League championship on Wednesday June 2nd when they host the Des Moines Prospects. Johnny Coy returns to coach the team for a third season.

Tickets are available from the Mustangs Front Office at 816-279-7856.
