A man from Tina, Missouri, was killed in a two-vehicle accident Sunday night.

Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop B, 21-year-old Alexander B. Heussner, who lives in Tina, drove a 2001 Ford F-150 west on US Highway 36 two miles west of Brookfield at 5:30 a.m. Sunday night when his truck drove on the left side of the lane. The patrol says Heussner overcorrected the vehicle, exiting the vehicle from the right side of the lane, hitting a 2020 Chevy Silverado heading west.

Then the Heussner vehicle drove over the lane again and overturned in the median, causing Heussner and his 21-year-old co-driver Blane A. Heussner to be thrown out.

Alexander Heussner suffered only minor injuries and reportedly sought his own medical treatment. Blane Heussner suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at 8:10 p.m. in the Samaritan Hospital in Macon
